The Hobart Blues Club hosts a regular event at The Duke Cafe Restaurant Bar, 192 Macquarie Street, Hobart, at 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month, except when otherwise advised. Theres usually a feature Band playing two sets with a jam session in between. We welcome Jammers - but we do get over subscribed at times. We limit jammers to two numbers and please check with us before 7:30 on the night to book in, if not a few days before. Backline and PA provided but you may want to bring your favourite amp.
We:
•Promote and foster all forms of blues and roots music;
•Communicate with other blues and roots clubs, societies and associated organisations;
•Encourage young musicians to participate in the performance of blues and roots music;
•Encourage older musicians and others to take part in the blues and roots community.
